2013 Spring Break Intensive
Now entering its 3rd year, the Birmingham Children's Theatre Spring Break Intensive has become a key component of our BCT Academy of Performing Arts. Children from across the state can enroll in a one-week theatre intensive taught by our highly-qualified, nurturing instructors of working theatre professionals. The BCT Spring Break Intensive is available to students in PreK-8th Grade. Exposure to the arts at an early age is proven to maximize learning and development potential, and can oftentimes provide new approaches to learning in other disciplines such as writing, social sciences, history and math. 2013 Spring Break Intensive Registration - One-Week Series
During the Spring Break Intensive, your child will be immersed in theatre for one-week of learning with BCT's team of experienced professionals and instructors. With a focus on acting, dancing and puppetry, the Spring Break Intensive provides a well-rounded curriculum and builds upon the skills taught during the Fall Workshops Series. Maximum 16 students per class. No audition required.
Meets: Monday-Friday, March 18-22, 2013, in BCT's BJCC performance spaces.

BCT Academy at the Birmingham Children's Theatre, one of the nation's oldest and largest professional theaters for children, draws on a six decade legacy of educating and entertaining over twelve million children. Our curriculum instills fundamental childhood growth skills: teamwork, interpersonal communication, reading, comprehension, self-confidence, self-discipline and leadership; while fostering creativity, imagination and a playful curiosity.
