Birmingham Children's Theatre
Birmingham Children’s Theatre will be holding youth auditions for our summer production of Ken Ludwig’s THE THREE MUSKETEERS on Saturday, May 5th from 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM at the Birmingham Children’s Theatre.
Actors should prepare a 60-90 second memorized monologue. Singers should also prepare 16 bars of musical theatre song. Accompanist Provided. If you have any special skills (example: juggling, playing an instrument, acrobatics, etc.) be prepared to demonstrate those as well.
PLEASE NOTE: Auditions are for actors aged 10 to 18 years.
Rehearsals and performances will be held primarily in the evenings and weekends through June and July.

When: SATURDAY, MAY 5TH from 12 PM to 5 PM
Where: All Auditions will be held in the Birmingham Children’s Theatre’s rehearsal hall. Park on 19th Street North, enter the Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center and come down the large set of stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, take a left and come to “Stage Door 2/Birmingham Children’s Theatre Production Offices.” Signs will be posted to point the way.
What to Bring/Prepare:
- A 60-90 second memorized monologue
- If you sing, 16 bars (approximately 30 seconds) of a song.
- Headshot and resume

Birmingham Children's Theatre hires actors through local and video auditions, as well as attending the Southeastern Theatre Conference each year. Local auditions will be posted to this page when available. You must be 18 years or older to be compensated as an actor.
Students are welcome to audition for our season as well, but must be available during school hours for rehearsals and performances. Youth auditions will be listed separately. If you would like to be added to a mailing list for upcoming youth auditions, please send an email to email@example.com with the subject line "YOUTH AUDITIONS."
BCT also accepts video submissions. Please send a 60-90 second memorized monologue of your choice and 16 bars of a musical theatre song along with your headshot and resume to firstname.lastname@example.org.
