60 years after the Montgomery Bus Boycott, Rosa Parks is remembered as “The Mother of the Civil Rights Movement.” With deep intensity and uplifting songs of the struggle, this play tells her uniquely moving American story. Everyone can make a difference. As an educational theatre, we feel it is important that our depiction of historical events be as accurate as possible, while still being age appropriate for our audiences. Please be aware that this show contains a small amount of hate speech and violence. While this language and these events may be jarring and uncomfortable for our audiences to hear and witness, we feel it is important for students to understand these events as they happened. By telling this story in the safe space of the theatre, we can also give students the tools to handle any discrimination they may encounter in their lives.

A pop culture phenomenon comes to the musical stage in Schoolhouse Rock Live! The Emmy Award-winning 1970s Saturday morning cartoon series that taught history, grammar, math and more through clever, tuneful songs. Schoolhouse Rock Live! follows Tom, a nerve-wracked school teacher who is nervous about his first day of teaching. He tries to relax by watching TV, when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music, through such songs as "Just a Bill," "Lolly, Lolly, Lolly" and "Conjunction Junction."
