Directions
BCT is located at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex. The theatre is on the corner of 19th Street and 11th Avenue North inside the complex. Please walk down the stairs and look for the colorful banners in our windows.
Recommended parking is on 19th Street in the gravel lot across the street from the BJCC. Parking is occasionally a $7 charge, and only cash is accepted. Metered parking is available on 19th Street North.
From the South (Montgomery)
Take I-65 North to Birmingham. When I-65 merges with I-59/I-20, take I-59/I-20 East. Take the 17th Street Exit (125 A). You will bear right onto 17th St. At first light, make a left on 8th Ave. N, and go straight for two blocks. Make a left on 19th St. and proceed to 10th Ave. N. BCT is located on the right, inside the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex.
From the West (Tuscaloosa)
Take I-59/I-20 East to Birmingham. After passing the intersection for I-65, take the 17th Street Exit (125 A). You will bear right onto 17th St. At first light, make a left on 8th Ave. N, and go straight for two blocks. Make a left on 19th St. and proceed to 10th Ave. N. BCT is located on the right, inside the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex.
From the Northeast (Gadsden)
Take I-59 South into Birmingham. I-59 South will merge with I-20 West becoming I-20/I-59 West. Take Exit 125 (located on the left of the interstate) and proceed through traffic light at the bottom of ramp to next traffic light. Turn right, and then make a quick left onto 9th Ave. N. You will see the complex on your right side. Make a right at the light on 19th St. and proceed to 10th Ave. N. BCT is located on the right, inside the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex.
From the East (Atlanta)
Take I-20 West into Birmingham which will merge with I-59 South becoming I-20/I-59 West. Then follow the directions from Northeast listed above.
