Auditions

Auditions for Fall 2008 shows will be held at BCT on April 5, 2008 at 10:00am

auditions are by appointment only.

BCT will be auditioning for the following shows:

CITY MOUSE COUNTRY MOUSE (Wee Folks touring show)

RAPUNZEL (Mainstage touring show)

DEAR SANTA (Wee Folks show)

THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER (Mainstage show)

Please prepare 90 seconds of audition material to showcase your strongest talents. You may choose any combination of the following to fill your 90 seconds.

• Comedic Monologue (preferably contemporary film or theater))
• Children's Theater monologue
• A memorized passage from a Children's Book
• Dramatic monologue (preferably contemporary film or theater)
• Classical comedic monologue
• Upbeat musical theater, rock, or pop song
• Musical Theater, rock, or pop ballad

Showcase your talent in the time provided.  Do not count on musical or acting call backs to show what you can do.

PLEASE BRING:

• Current Headshot
• Resume
• Sheet music if you are singing
• List of conflicts between August 15 and December 15, 2008

BCT is a professional company. We are looking for actors who can work during day hours. ALL POSITIONS PAID.

Internship

Internship and work-study programs are available for high school and college students in both Theatre Administration and Production .  Please contact Alex McConnell for Production Internship opportunities and Nancy Jones for Administrative Internship opportunities. School Groups

To book performances at BCT you must call Teresa Shepperd at 205-458-8899 for group sales. Do not use the "Buy Tickets" button (Ticket Leap) for school groups. For Study Guides, go to the play you are about to see and click on the study guide attached. For a yearly school calendar click on the calendar button under "On Stage".
