Private Lessons (any age)   -   $50.00 for an hour with a Resident Teaching artist.

This will be scheduled by emailing the resident artist and requesting a private lesson in acting or voice. The student or parent and the resident artist will then schedule a time at the convenience of both parties.

HIGH SCHOOL Age Internships

We offer non-paid internships at BCT for students 16 and over. These students will have an interview with the Artistic Director and Associate Artistic Director to see what best fits the students needs and desires.

Shakespeare Takes a Stand         

Shakespeare Takes a Stand is a performance workshop. Two of our resident artists will perform a combined Shakespeare piece for Equality. After the performance, they take the students through the script and talk about each moral lesson, how to perform, and understand Shakespeare. 

Triple Threat Theatre

This theatre workshop hits all three facets. Our teaching artist will teach some basics from acting, music, and dance. This workshop is very active. Students will learn about all three subjects through different exercises.

Spring Opportunities

Wee Play Saturdays - $25 per student        Pre-K - 2nd Grade                                          March 4  - 18 @ Homewood Library

Students will have an hour and a half of exploring their creativity through drama. 

Blue Group: Pre - K & Kindergarten      12:00pm - 1:30pm

Red Group: 1st & 2nd Grade             1:30pm - 3:00pm 

Registration ends March 1st!

Spring Academy - $295 per student           3rd - 8th Grades                                            Seven Saturdays from 9:00a - 12:30p Feb. 4 - Mar. 18

Blue group  - 3rd & 4th Grade        Yellow group - 5th & 6th Grade           Red Group - 7th & 8th Grade

Students will take classes in Voice, Dance, Acting, Stage Combat, Improvisation, and more over a period of ten Saturdays. The academy will culminate with a showcase celebrating the classics of Broadway.

Summer Camps 2017 location: BCT

Wee Play Theatre                                    

Pre K - 2nd Grade  -  June 5 - 9            8:30 am - 12:30 pm  -  $225 per student   At this camp, your student will learn the very basics of theatre thru Music, Storytelling, Dance and Movement, and Crafts.

Triple Threat Theatre                             

3rd - 8th Grade  -  June 12 - 16                   8:30 am - 3:30 pm  -  $325 per student   At this camp, your student will take classes in Acting, Dance, Music, and Stage Combat. You will see a sampling of what they worked on at the showcase on the last day.

Fairy Tale Tellers                                      

Pre K - 2nd Grade  -  June 19 - 23      8:30 am - 12:30 pm  -  $225 per student Students will play different acting games and lessons to make fairy tales come to life by the end of the week. Parents will be invited to open house on Friday to see how the fairy tale tellers tell their tale.

We Wear The Mask                                

3rd - 8th Grade  -  June 26 - 30              8:30 am - 3:30 pm  -  $325 per student  During this camp, students will use different activities to help create and tell a story through movement and dance all while masked. The performance at the end of the week, will be created from their own stories and a poem about being true to oneself.
