Birmingham Children's Theatre
Summer & ‘19-’20 Season AUDITIONS
BCT is holding Auditions on Monday, February 18th, 2019 3pm - 8pm and Saturday, February 23rd, 2019 12pm - 5pm
Please note: these auditions are for performers 18 years and older. For Youth Auditions for this summer’s production of Fame, Jr., please follow this link.
The Magic City Theatre Festival is returning this summer with Alice In Wonderland. Alice In Wonderland will rehearse and perform on evenings and weekends beginning in late May.
BCT produces 4 MainStage and 4 WeeFolks shows, which typically rehearse and perform between the hours of 9am and 4pm. Specific titles will be announced at a later date. Our summer WeeFolks production, Little Miss Muffet, will also rehearse during these hours.
We ask that all performers prepare a 1-minute monologue and 16 bars of a song (if they sing). An accompanist will be provided. Performers who can play instruments and those with strong movement skills are especially needed for Alice In Wonderland.
All roles in our season are currently open. We are committed to diversity in our casting and are performers (18 years and older) of all genders, ethnicities, and physical abilities. All cast members are paid weekly.
Auditions are by appointment only. To schedule a 10-minute audition appointment, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and indicate what day and time(s) would work best for you. We will do our best to accommodate you. Please indicate your day, evening, and weekend availability when requesting your audition time.
