Join us at the Magic City Theatre Festival for a whimsical journey down the fated rabbit hole and into the off-kilter world of Wonderland. Inquisitive young Alice encounters the eccentric inhabitants of this fantastical land, including mock turtles, punctual rabbits, and dancing flora. Our young heroine struggles to make sense of her surroundings and - most of all - figure out a way to get home.

The Magic City Theatre Festival’s fresh take on this classic tale finds Alice in a post-industrial Wonderland, far from the Victorian rules and manners of her adolescence. Embracing the ever-lasting themes of curiosity, growing up, and finding identity, audiences young and old will find little of themselves in the furnaces of Wonderland.

Sponsor a Student!

This summer, make a difference in one child’s life by giving them the gift of theatre. Your tax deductible contribution will send a child (or two) to summer camp at BCT, teaching them the dramatic tools to focus their voices, build their confidence, and hone their talents.

To ensure all children have the opportunity to participate in BCT Players’ educationsal programs, has created a donation campaign to fund scholarships for the many youth in the Birmingham community in need of financial assistance. Sponsor a Student provides for kids this summer and beyond, through BCT Players’ camps, shows, outreach, and after school programming.

Through the Sponsor a Student campaign, you or your business will provide an opportunity for a student who would not otherwise be able to benefit from BCT Players’ camps and classes. One hundred percent of your tax-deductible donation goes towards the registration fee of a deserving child, opening their minds and lives to the Education, Enrichment, and Entertainment that comes from an integrated arts experience.
