What happens when bedtime becomes an adventure? Stay Awake invites children ages 0–5 to follow a child and her dog on a fantastical journey through Dreamland where their nightly routine is thrown delightfully off-balance. BCT's =Theatre for the Very Young (TVY) shows weave music, movement, puppetry, and visual art together to explore shapes, sounds, numbers, and more. With built-in repetition, rhyme, and generous audience interaction, this enchanting production is designed to spark curiosity and delight in even the youngest learners.
The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs

He huffed. He puffed. And now he wants a fair trial. Based on Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith's beloved picture book, The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs is a high-energy musical that turns a familiar fairy tale delightfully on its head. As Piggsylvania's Trial of the Century unfolds, students are treated to a funny, fast-moving exploration of perspective, persuasion, and the stories we tell, making it as rich in the classroom as it is on the stage.
Flora Meets a Bee

Flora has never quite felt like she fits in — until an unexpected friendship changes everything. Flora Meets a Bee follows a young girl and the unlikely companion who helps her discover that belonging can be found in the most surprising places. Warm, uplifting, and gently woven with Spanish language throughout, this sweet story is a natural fit for classrooms exploring empathy, friendship, and what it means to truly see one another. It's 1876, Christmas is in jeopardy, and one quick-thinking nine-year-old just captured an elf. Santa's Boots is a warm, witty, and wonderfully chaotic adventure set in the charming New England seaport of Mystic Harbor. When Lizzy and her uncle stumble upon Santa's trusted elf Mistletoe on a desperate mission to save Christmas, Lizzy strikes a bargain: she'll help, but only if Mistletoe can prove Santa is real. Funny, heartfelt, and rich with themes of belief, community, and the rekindling of wonder, Santa's Boots is a joyful holiday experience that sparks meaningful conversation in and out of the classroom.

Patience is one of the earliest and most important lessons a young child encounters, and one of the hardest. Hurry Up...and Wait is a charming new Theatre for the Very Young (TVY) production that follows two siblings through the wonderfully slow adventure of planting seeds and waiting to see what grows. Warm, funny, and gently interactive, this new work for children ages 0–5 gives young learners a joyful entry point into conversations about patience, nature, and the quiet rewards of slowing down. A wonderful complement to early childhood curricula in social-emotional learning and early science discovery.

Based on Arnold Lobel's beloved stories, A Year with Frog and Toad is a whimsical, warmhearted musical that follows two wonderfully mismatched best friends through a year of adventure, laughter, and gentle life lessons. Part vaudeville, part make-believe, and all charm, this joyful production is a natural complement to classroom conversations about friendship, empathy, and celebrating what makes each of us unique, brought to life through the magic of live theatre!
